Part 1: Inclusion of Youth with Physical Disability
This CATCH Inclusion Guide is an addendum to the CATCH Kids Club afterschool curriculum for grades K to 8. It provides practical tips and resources to maximize opportunities for youth with disability to participate in meaningful inclusive physical activity.
The guide was developed in partnership with the Lakeshore Foundation – National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD), and Special Olympics International.
Part 2: Inclusion of Youth with Intellectual Disability
This free, 4-part video training for out-of-school time instructors covers best-practices for including youth with intellectual disability (ID) in physical activity sessions.
The series was funded by Special Olympics International and made possible by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
